I haven't used every backup software before, but I've tried more than a few and I've found Reflect is the fastest/easiest at restoration. You can have it do either, but I think the most popular way of doing it is grandfather-father-son with full-differential-incremental. Can this do that for me? Would I need two licenses, one for my laptop and one for my server?Ī year ago I tried to do a full image to a new larger SSD for my laptop using the free version, it seemed relatively straightforward process but it didn't work for me and I didn't have time to troubleshoot.

I'd like to do a daily backup to my home server such that if something happened to my laptop, I'd have a backup copy on my server. So does the software figure out the changes made each day and only backup the changes or does it do a full drive backup each day? And does it also restore to a previous day or copy relatively well?
